A simple way to brew small batch coffee, manual but worth it.
Water Temperature : 200-205°F (30 seconds off of boil)
Grind : Medium-Coarse
Coffee Weight : 26 grams (3 heaping tbsp whole bean)
Water Weight : 420 grams (14oz.)
Brew Time : 30 seconds to bloom, 90 seconds pour
French Press
Easy to use, no paper filters required.
Water Temperature : 200-205°F (30 seconds off of boil)
Grind : Coarse
Coffee Weight : 40 grams (5 tbsp whole bean)
Water Weight : 400 grams (14oz.)
Brew Time : 30 seconds to bloom, stir grounds, 3.5 minutes steep
Espresso
For use with a machine or Moka pot.
Water Temperature : 195-200°F
Grind : Fine
Coffee Weight : 18 grams
Espresso Weight : 36 grams
Brew Time : 25-30 seconds
Drip
One of the oldest, simplest and fastest ways to brew coffee.
Water Temperature : 200-205°F (30 seconds off of boil)
Grind : Medium
Coffee Weight : 18 grams (2 tbsp whole bean)
Water Weight : 300 grams (10oz.)
Brew Time : 5-8 minutes
Aeropress
An efficient way to make coffee without a machine.
Water Temperature : 200-205°F (30 seconds off of boil)
Grind : Medium
Coffee Weight : 16 grams (2 tbsp whole bean)
Water Weight : 250 grams (8.8oz.)
Brew Time : 2-3 minutes
